If you can't see specific users or channels when creating or editing a standup, there are some common causes:

  • Is the channel active?: If the channel is archived, it will not show up. Only active channels appear in the list.
  • Is the user active?: If the user is disabled, they will not appear. Only active users appear in the list.
  • Is the user from another workspace?: If the user is from another workspace via Slack Connect, they will not appear in the list.
  • Is the channel private?: By default, only public channels appear to StandupWizard, however if you add StandupWizard to the private channel it will appear. Click here to learn more.
